Seul point positif serait l'ensemble des évènements proposé sur l'année par l'AEU (il y en a deux en plus de ceux organisés par les résidents)
Pour le reste;
Les résidences sont pour certaines insalubres, avec des rats présents dans les faux plafonds et les salles communes. Le ménage y est mal fait et l'entretien des bâtiments est mauvais. Les chambres sont de tailles variables mais le prix ne change pas étonnement. Une chambre peut aller du simple au double.
La salle de sport est en très mauvais état avec des fuites et des inondations régulières, le matériel est usé jusqu'à la moelle (tout particulièrement machines à poids/muscu). Le système de sécurité est faible avec de nombreux vols au cours des différentes années.
L'ambiance reste malgré tout positiv, mais ca, ca ne dépend pas de l'AEU mais seulement de l'ambiance générale à la Catho.

Nouveaux étudiants, partez en appart ou coloc, vous serez bien mieux

The AEU was a complete scam. They are not there to help students as the name states, they are there to steal from innocent students. They charge some students lower prices for rooms the same size as others for in the same residence for no reason, expecting no one to find out. Have numerous amounts of rats in their residence. Charge much more than what they offer. For instance, I arrived to the residence the 12th of January and they made me pay for the whole month of January. Why? Because the contract started at the first and that was the only excuse they gave me. Normally contracts are made between the leaser and lessee and not just the leaser whenever they feel like it. I was desperate without a place to stay so I paid. I basically paid for 12 days at a place I did not stay. They are also very rude and disrespectful to your property, they enter your room whenever they please knocking on the door once and if no one answers open the door and go in. Many times people were sleeping and woke up to one of the people that worked for them inside their room. A situation that I will never forget is the situation that happened on the 4th floor in which a girl from China was locked out of her room, without shoes or a jacket because the AEU changed her lock because their system said she had not paid. At the end of the story her bank was not making the transfer to the AEU but they can not change a lock of a room without giving any notice to the person that lives in it. She called the AEU crying they said you have to walk here (20 min away) and she said how I do not have shoes or a jacket (it was about 10 degrees that day) and they said that she had to figure it out. They treated us like things more than like students. I cant say do not stay there because there are no other options in Lille but I do recommend that if you have the choice to stay away from them, then do. STAY AWAY FROM NOTRE DAME
