A clean and comfy room with friendly staff. Only downside was creaking floorboards above so when those guests got up at 6am...so did we. Would recommend the Brewers Fayre next door...delicious.

We turned up at reception with our little boy who had been very badly stuck in the car. The great guy in reception (whose name I didn't catch) helped us and washed all of his clothes for us. The rooms are comfortable and clean. Everything you need before an early morning start to the ferry.

True to Premier Inn standards,
Usual clean and bright presentation.
Good food and service at the restaurant.
A cock stride from the ferry port.
Very helpful, friendly staff.

What more could you ask for. 😊

Have stayed here twice and on each occasion the staff have been friendly and helpful. Rooms ok and provided with floor-standing fan. Restaurant about 3 minutes' walk away. Local power cut early hours 12 July 2017 revealed no back-up power supply for hotel and no emergency lighting in bedrooms. That was quite a concern for me and my wife. Room pitch black: had to wash, dress and pack by torchlight. No breakfast available because of power cut. No refund offered by Head Office on the grounds that the power cut was out of the hotel's control and that the emergency lighting in corridors meets fire regulations. However, after making some checks they agreed to refund the cost of breakfast, something that could have been done as a matter of course without waiting for us to request it over two weeks later on our return from France.
