We have been for meals previously with family and always been happy with the service but unfortunately we were very disappointed this evening. We were greeted well and shown to our table but after that service was bad, after ordering our food it took ages to arrive without explanation. Some mistakes were made with order but because it took so long to come we didnt want to change it. Portion sizes were smaller than previous. When we finished our meal it was ages before anyone came to collect plates and when they did they asked 'you done'!!! By this point we were fed up and normally we would have had pudding, coffee and more drinks but we just asked for bill so we could leave! The only thing that brightened our visit was a waitress who had served us on previous visits recognised our 3 year old daughter and made her night by speaking to her.

The food was over cooked, the steak was like leather and the lamb rump was practically inedible. Not only that but the glasses were dirty. Service was terribly slow we waited and hour for our main meal so we were there till quarter past eight arriving at quarter past six. Very disappointing since we have eaten there before and then the food was great . Definitely will not eat there again.

Had the risotto last night, was dry, sticky and definitely not fresh. Starter was lovely really disappointing as have had lovely food here before. Did complain but nothing was done.

Popped in for a evening Birthday dinner with our two little ones. Absolutely spot on. Service was excellent, food very good value, atmosphere relaxed. Space around the tables. Will be back.

Just had a lovely meal tonight. My fillet steak was cooked just the way I like it (medium to we'll done) well done chef. Staff were polite. Will go back again.
