I have to give them a bad review, because I believe the Dr was excellent. The billing department is terrible and rude and and and. We used them a month ago. We provided all of our insurance info to the Doctor and all of the other parts of the procedure will billed to our insurance agency. We got a letter - IN SPANISH - apparently threatening us to pay because insurance denied the claim. We are American and do not speak spanish. We were able to figure out the phone number and called dozens of times and got the same thing each time. "We are experiencing a high call volume, good bye" Upon spending hours with our insurance company, they inform us it was never submitted. I am deeply offended that they feel it is ok to send threatening letters in spanish. If you want to threaten me, do it in American English. I still do not know if it was submitted or not, everyone is rude as soon as you bring up the fact that you want to do business in American English.

I have been faithfully making payments to Gulf to Bay Anesthesiology for about a year. Last week, I called to make my payment, and the customer service rep charged my account the full balance instead of the amount agreed to. I have spent a week attempting to get a reversal so that I can pay my other bills. I have spoken to a supervisor twice and have gotten the run around. I am very disappointed with these associates. The service was okay, but they are not quick to correct any billing issues. I hope I never need to use Gulf to Bay again!

The anesthesia during surgery wasn't an issue, as far as I know- but who knows about that sort of thing, unless there's a major problem.

It was a pre-authorized Workers Comp surgery, and I was out of state for it. 4 months later, when I was able to travel home, there was a stack of bills from Gulf to Bay waiting for me for the procedure. I tried to call- line stated wait time was less than a minute. 7 minutes later, I hung up. Tried later in the day, hung up after 5 minutes. Yesterday I got through at 8 minutes, and found out they had no insurance information on file for me at all, which is really hard to believe, especially since it was all pre-authorized. I had to gather info and call them back with it, etc. Today I called back. I was on hold just under 10 minutes- again, with the "your wait time is estimated to be less than one minute."

The woman on the phone was curt, but not rude- that's not the issue. They need more phone reps- the hold times are unreasonable, and clearly something is going on with their record keeping.
