This place is iconic in that it's been operating for a long while now. They have expanded twice now and each time the place is still crowded during the lunch time in downtown. They pizza are diverse in toppings and taste. Their lunch deal is really good - two cheese slices and a coke for $6.99 - considering the big slices you get. I love their garlic knots all drenched in garlic sauce and minced garlic (you will definitely need some gum/mints afterward). Their spaghetti and their calzones are really good and nice portion sizes. This is definitely a go to place for our dept when we want out of the office for something quick, greasy and tasty for lunch.

Great New York Pizza that tastes like real New York Pizza. Their cheese pizza is delicious but try one of their amazing specialty pizzas. The Buffalo Chicken pizza had fresh grilled chicken in Buffalo sauce. Not just hot sauce like some other places.

This restaurant sells New York style pizza in a wide range of varieties, including calzones. They have racks of pizza slices in lots of different flavor combinations. They concentrate on strictly pizza, and if you love pizza, this is a good thing. Closed on Sundays and Monday's. Accepting credit and debit cards. Outside sidewalk and inside air conditioned dining. Very popular and busy at lunch time but they have a factory quality assembly line that gets the orders out quickly.

I’m from Pennsylvania/New York/ New Jersey, worked in a pizzeria for years. I have been told about this place that I had to try, with thoughtful 700+ reviews and comments about this place. I was anxious to come eat and experience the awesome taste of the food and experience. Sorry folks, but the ingredients used for the dough on the pizza isn’t as soft or tasty! I ordered a 20” inch meat lovers pizza, the crust was just not edible and it was dry, literally became hard once I opened the box! Which was scary! The crust was breaking in half while I was eating a slice. Never in my life I have ever tasted this. They even served my pie in 15 minutes knowing that it doesn’t take that long to make. I know there’s more 5* reviews because downtown Tampa “only” has this spot for New York Pizza. “Sorry but dissatisfied”. Not for referral on my end. The workers didn’t even look attentive and ready. I never seen workers massaging another workers back in front of customers? I never seen the shakers so dirty in the inside caps, can’t barely shake the garlic on my pie? There needs to be a re-evaluation on everything in this place. For those in Tampa loving this, this isn’t how the pizza supposed to taste.

My favorite pizza place in Tampa. I bring all my friends and family from out of town here and now the make me bring them back! Eddie and Sam's serves delicious thin crust pizza for a low price. Even when the line is out the door, it moves quickly.

They offer both slices and entire pies. The slices come in many varieties, including vegetarian options. I recommend the chicken parm slice and you can't go wrong with plain cheese.

They had a recent expansion, so the indoor seating is pretty abundant. There are a few tables outside too.

Parking isn't great because it's in the heart of downtown. If you take it to-go, you can enjoy your meal by the river just a couple of blocks away.
